Greetings from symbolic insight on this snowy November day in Colorado. bios+a+ic just released a new ambient drone album titled, 'trap of the white light', which is available in all digital formats exclusively at Bandcamp.com. You can also hear his final Electronic Air & Under the Floorboards radio shows of 2019 this Saturday night on KGNU radio which is streamed worldwide and aired locally.

This release can be considered the third of a series exploring minimal sonic expressions which explore the process and impact of death and dying. The theme and timbre of this sound art statement connects and relates directly with bios+a+ic's two prior albums, 'free and floating away' and 'something about the light', inspired by the death of his mother. The album cover symbolically represents the death of past experiences and the death of unclear perceptions of the self. The dark ambient noise duo of bahiya and bios+a+ic release this spooky space themed album just in time for the Halloween season. This album is the most minimal ambient release from bios+a+ic since 'cloudLanD', and could be considered a companion album to 'free and floating away'. Trumpet washes are looped, layered, and manipulated to create ethereal, other worldly atmosphere, which drifts with the wind. A year in the making, these recordings by bios+a+ic explore new production techniques in programming and feature collected samples from studio sessions by the band, EARadiate. The rhythm loop programming captures out jazz jams, changing them into loose grooves and IDM forms, which are further manipulated and processed. Heavy Moog bass lines and drones keep thing grounded allowing the explorations of deep space with additional guitar, saxophone, and percussion in the mix. biostatic's signature muted trumpet is featured in lush layers with synths and vocal samples scattered through out creating rich sonic textures.
