"My music teachers were always very cool but, intense (state championships were a 30 yr. tradition) and we traveled all over, including New York for the 1986 unveiling of the Stature of Liberty celebration". After studying music at Northern Colorado University, he moved to San Diego in 1989, to persue a career in music with his band, (later relocating to Seattle in 1991, to be a part of the thriving music scene there).Since moving to Seattle, he has contiued to perform with a variety of projects, focusing now on, entropic advance, which he has co-written, co-produced, engineered, and released, four full-lenght cds on the label, Symbolic Insight.

In 1998, after a surroud-sound improv show with Vance Galloway, Wesley made a decision to form his ideal project, "I was tired of working with people who wanted to appeal to a specific audience, I wanted to make something new and artistic, with no preset limitations," he stated. After an ad was placed in the local music rag (Rocket/r.i.p.), Casey Jones reintroduced himself with a phone call (Casey and Wesley had met years before when a different ad was called), and entropic advance was born.
